Griz-Jitsu is Zoo BJJ’s official student group and affiliate program at the University of Montana specifically designed to help U of M students learn non-violent self-defense techniques while reinforcing the essentials of character development and life skills such as: respect, health, responsibility, self-discipline, citizenship, manners, etc. Additionally, U of M students will learn the key functional movement patterns and fundamental Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques that will set a solid foundation essential to further development in the sport. Above all, the goal of each class will be to have fun in a safe learning environment.
